Every single cupcake sold, online campaigns, events and individual initiatives led to making a huge difference to communities, hospitals, families and individuals where our programs operate. This just goes to show how we’re all stronger together and that efforts from 179 students can make a massive impact on the world. Give yourselves a huge pat on the back!

Scholarships for:

o   Tibetans – Secondary school

o   Fishtail Nursing College students

o   Pokhara University students

Donations to:

o   Tibetan Old Age Centre

o   Naulo Ghumti Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Centre

o   Community Mothers Club

o   Children Nepal

o   Seven Women

o   Days For Girls

o  Various equipment for the village school 

 

Seuang Valley Laos

UNIVERSITY GROUPS INVOLVED: Griffith University, Murdoch University

TOTAL NUMBER OF STUDENTS: 45

TOTAL AMOUNT FUNDRAISED: AU$8150

 PROJECTS SUPPORTED:

o   Village water tanks

o   District hospital water supply

o   Clinic equipment and medications

o   Patient referrals and associated costs for their hospital stay

o  District hospital ambulance maintenance

o   Sewing skills training to high schools

o   Over 500 masks commissioned and donated to district hospital and clinics

Donations were also made to:

o   Laos Friends Hospital for Children

o   Days For Girls

 

Mai Chau Vietnam

 

UNIVERSITY GROUPS INVOLVED: Charles Darwin University, Edith Cowan University, Griffith University, La Trobe University, University of Notre Dame Australia, University of Southern Queensland

TOTAL NUMBER OF STUDENTS: 76

TOTAL AMOUNT FUNDRAISED: AU$6580

PROJECTS SUPPORTED:

o     Mai Chau Hospital Patient breakfast provided weekly for 2020

o    Village Primary School student lunches

o     Clinic equipment and medications

o      Patient referrals and associated costs for hospital stay

o    Community library restock

o   Days For Girls

Khon Kaen Thailand

o     IV sets and Community Hospital equipment
